Ski all in Deals and all Inclusive Ski Holidays

Ski all inclusive and ski all in deals

Ski all in deals (or all inclusive ski holidays as they are also called) offer the best value way to book a ski holiday. We feature two leading ski tour operators who specialise in creating all inclusive ski holiday packages that pass on to you the biggest savings. With the uncertainty of Brexit and what that might mean to the price of lift passes, ski hire and lessons if paid for in resort many of our clients now prefer to book all the elements of their ski holiday at the time of booking. With great savings to be made by booking a ski all in deal this not only gives peace of mind on the price but also creates the best value ski holidays.

There are two principal chalet and chalet hotel holiday companies that specialise in offering ski all in deals: Skiworld and Club Med. However, each offers a slightly different approach to what is included with the ski all in price.

Skiworld - ski all inclusive

Skiworld are the largest independent UK ski tour operator and have a wide range of chalet and chalet hotel properties throughout the alps. The main ski areas they operate in France are: Three Valleys (Courchevel Village, Meribel, Mottaret and Val Thorens), Espace Killy (Tignes and Val d'Isere), Paradiski (Les Arcs and La Plagne), La Rosiere and Alpe d'Huez. In Austria they offer famous resorts such as St Anton and Lech in the Arlberg, and Mayrhofen. They also offer Zermatt and Nendaz in Switzerland.

In total they have over 100 chalets and chalet hotels and all can be booked on a 'ski all in deal' basis. We feature a selection of our favourite Skiworld properties below with the all inclusive prices shown. However, for a wider selection of chalets please do call us.

What is included:

  1. Your flights from the UK (they offer a range of London and regional airports).
  2. Airport transfers to and from resort.
  3. Breakfast and afternoon tea daily.
  4. Dinner with complimentary wines on 5 nights of the week.
  5. Six day local area lift pass (full area upgrade is possible).
  6. Silver standard ski and boot hire (upgrade to gold standard is available for a supplement or a downgrade to bronze standard gives a further discount).

If you already have your own skis and boots you can swap the free Silver standard hire for free ski carriage on your return flights.

Silver Standard ski and boot hire and a local area lift pass are together worth approximately £370 per person. So if you wish to compare a Skiworld all inclusive price with a chalet holiday from a different chalet holiday company you would need to take away £370 from the prices shown below to get a comparative price.

Club Med - ski all inclusive

Club Med were the originators of the 'all inclusive' holiday and for the quality of accommodation they offer, their high staff to guest ratio, quality and variety of cuisine and their evening entertainment Club Med offer exceptional value for money. Club Med have a number of new 'villages' which offer an excellent quality of accommodation and ski in ski out access to some of the best ski areas of the alps.

What is included:

  1. Your flights from the UK (they offer a range of London and regional airports).
  2. Airport transfers to and from resort.
  3. Breakfast and afternoon tea daily.
  4. Lunch every day (this is offered in a mountain restaurant).
  5. Dinner every night of the week.
  6. Open bar all day with premium brands (cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks).
  7. Six day full area lift pass.
  8. Ski instruction or ski guiding (for experts) 5 days of the week.
  9. Expert kids' clubs from babies to teens.
  10. Great evening entertainment programmes.

We estimate that the lunches, free alcoholic drinks at any time, lift pass and ski instruction all week are worth approximately £700 per person. So to compare a Club Med ski holiday with a standard ski holiday provided by a different tour operator (without the all inclusive package) you would need to discount the Club Med price by £700 to make the comparison in prices fair.

As with any all inclusive holiday the sums and savings really make sense when you use all the elements included in the price. With Club Med the ski instruction/guiding alone is worth approximately £200 per person but if you don't use this service then you will not benefit from the cost saving. Remember there is no reduction in price if you don't use the elements included in the price.

So the burning question is...how much do you actually save by going all inclusive?

With both Skiworld and Club Med their models differ from each other. However, we estimate that you will save £250 per person per week booking an 'all inclusive' holiday as opposed to booking a standard holiday and purchasing lift pass, ski hire and ski school separately.
