Overview
Hotel Pashmina in Val Thorens opened for the 2015/16 season and is a luxury hotel for Europe's highest resort. The hotel has a contemporary feel to it and the large amount of light and space that fills the hotel means that it still feels very warm and inviting after you've spent a long day exploring the Three Valleys.
Hotel Pashmina has every facility that you would expect from a hotel of this standard; there is an indoor pool, gym, sauna and steam room. There is also a range of beauty treatments available for an extra cost in the spa which is run in partnership with L'Occitane.
Hotel Pashmina has two restaurants; Le Base Camp and Les Explorateurs (which was awarded its first Michelin star in February 2017). Le Base Camp serves delicious gourmet food by the award-winning Romuald Fassent with a relaxed vibe whereas Les Explorateurs offers more adventurous dishes for those who want to try something new and modern.
The Pashmina is a good example of a refurbishment that has been done successfully. Lovely rooms, great bar and restaurant and friendly professional staff.

Client Comments
" Lovely hotel, very comfortable. Friendly staff but it felt as if they had just opened. For example when entering the restaurant for dinner, staff just stood around watching. No one greeted us and we had to ask which table they wanted us to sit at for each of our 4 nights... And on our first night the turn-down service took away our used towels and didn't leave new ones. Little things like that. It felt like they needed a manager, or a new one. We wanted to book 2 bespoke holidays to Val Thorens and had used Alpine Answers before with excellent results. Thank you for making the whole process so simple and straightforward. One holiday down, one to go (at Easter). Please could you organise some sun at Easter? Otherwise brilliant all round. Thanks "
