Chalet Makini

Chalet Makini in Verbier is a new addition to Verbier's super luxury properties. The chalet is ski in/ski out and sits on the banks of a small lake in the very exclusive Hameau development. An entire new lower floor was added in 2025 to house two new bedrooms and also a state of the art spa and wellness area. Its swimming pool was the first in Switzerland to be fitted with the Sicis integrated lighting system, and it sits alongside a Finnish sauna with red-light therapy, a steam room, a hot tub, a treatment room and a fully equipped gym. The materials used throughout this part of the chalet are reclaimed wood, Valais stone and polished oak. All have been handled with the kind of detail you don't often see at this scale.

Chalet Makini boasts very impressive interior detail. There is a magnificent blend of old and new with contemporary furniture and art, chandeliers mixed with old wood beans, polished oak flooring, natural stone, antiques and luxurious furs to create a sophisticated living space.

One of the eye catching features of Chalet Makini is the chandelier suspended from the double height ceiling in the dining room; with its cascading glass petal it really does draw attention. The dining room table can comfortably seat twelve people and you can enjoy the fantastic level of food and service in front of the grand stone fire place.

Chalet Makini sleeps up to 14 guests guests in 7 individually designed bedrooms which all boast en-suite facilities. There are two living areas in the chalet with sensational views over the mountains thanks to the chalet's elevated position. Two new master suites have been added recently with views over the lake. In total there are 1,150 square metres of internal space in this simply stunning chalet.

From the chalet, guests can ski down a trail that leads directly to the Le Rouge teleski from where the main ski area can be accessed. At the end of the day you can ski to the chalet from the Les Esserts beginners area or from Savoleyres, snow permitting.

There is internal garage parking for 4 vehicles and a further 2 external parking places (additional parking spaces can be arranged on request).
