" The chalet staff - Hels, Face and Dave were well presented, appropriately friendly and not too over familiar. They were knowledgeable about the area, the skiing and events locally. They were approachable and took time out to explain things to us and to determine our needs. The catering and cleaning was excellent. The chalet always looked spotless and the food was well cooked and presented. Chalet Gentiane is well positioned; only a short walk to the slopes and we were able to ski back to within yards of the front door each day and to the front door on the final day. The chalet and the rooms were a good size and unlike some chalets that we have stayed in with other operators the rooms were quite well soundproofed although some people did complain about the dishwasher being emptied in the morning before breakfast. There was plenty of seating around the dinner table and in the lounge/tv area and the chalet did not feel cramped. Our room had a bath with a shower attachment. It would have been nice if the shower could have been attached to the wall rather than being hand-held. We would have liked internet access at the chalet and think that it would be a good idea to have Wi-Fi available for guests. Over all we were very pleased with the chalet. [Operator comment: Wi-Fi has been installed in the chalet]. Les Arcs and the link to La Plagne is a large area with plenty to do for a week's ski holiday. The walk to the small village of Plan Peisey is quite steep downhill and was very slippery. Plan Peisey itself is small but had everything that we needed for our weeks stay. We would recommend guests visit the Armoise Restaurant on the chalet staff's night off. "

" We have just come back from staying in Chalet Gentiane in Plan Peisey where our son is currently working. I just thought you would like to know that it was a brilliant, lovely chalet, great location, and we have been very impressed with the company running the chalet - obviously as far as the chalet hosts were concerned we were a bit biased! Plan Peisey was also very nice, quiet but with three good bars and easy access to great skiing. "
