Overview
Chalet Stelvio in La Rosiere offers a superb family ski chalet option. Located in the Les Eucherts area of this high altitude and snow sure resort it is an easy walk of 4 minutes to access the main lifts, nursery slopes and ski school meeting point. The chalet offers four en-suite bedrooms, one of which also has a set of bunk beds which makes it a great family room (children occupying the bunk bed enjoy a discounted price).
The chalet has a lovely south facing large balcony which makes the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner. The balcony enjoys far reaching views across the main Tarentaise Valley to the high mountain peaks of the high French Alps. Inside, traditional Savoyard decor style gives the chalet some traditional alpine chalet appeal. Natural wood and slate creating that welcoming atmosphere guests want from a mountain escape.
The ski hire and other shops are located very close to the chalet and you can ski back to within 200m of the chalet at the end of the day. The commercial centre of Les Eucherts links to the centre of La Rosiere 1850 via a pretty forest track which can be easily walked in 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a short local bus ride. However, with its own ski school and hire, bowling alley, ice rink, bars and restaurants, Les Eucherts is a convenient centre in its own right.
