The first ski lesson took place in Flims in 1929 and just 4 years later the Flims Ski School was created. The neighbouring parishes of Laax and Falera didn't want to be left out and also founded a ski school. The two ski schools joined forces in 1998 and Mountain Adventures AG was founded, with the Weisse Arena Gruppe AG as a shareholder. The Flims Laax Falera Ski School was always innovative - for example the Tegia Miez mountain hut is operated by ski instructors. In 2006, Mountain Adventures AG was completely integrated into Weisse Arena AG as a 100% subsidiary.

In order to be able to offer even the youngest skiers the right environment in which to have fun learning to ski, the Ami Sabi Snow Wonderland was created in 2008/9. The concept has been a success story. In the three Snow Wonderlands of Flims Laax Falera, the young snow acrobats meet the figures of Ami Sabi and his friends from the stories of the author and songwriter Linard Bardill. As with the sport of skiing in general, the ski school continues to develop and offers a modern, cool range of courses.

Group and private lessons are available. Also a creche and snow kindergarten for young children
