Overview
Built with Alpine style this large, modern hotel manages to combine first rate amenities with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. It is advertised in many brochures as a 4 star luxury hotel but guests should be aware that this rating is largely based on the facilities there. However, we don't want to do the hotel down - the staff are friendly, the rooms fine (if a little small) and the atmosphere relaxed. It is no more than a 4 minute walk to the main Gotschna cable car station and the centre of Klosters is even nearer. The hotel welcomes families and even has an all-day kindergarten for non-skiing children. For older children at ski school the hotel arranges for a pick up from ski school at the end of the day and delivery back to the hotel.
This hotel is a favourite with families as there are lots of facilities to enjoy after a day's skiing.

Client Comments
" The Hotel Silvretta Park was great. The rooms were all a decent size. The spa was nice though the swimming pool and Jacuzzi could have done with being a degree or so warmer (the saunas made up for it .... they were incredibly hot). The location was great - an easy walk to the cable car and the ski hire shop [Bardil Sports] who were absolutely lovely - fantastic service and really helpful. A totally different experience from any French ski hire place I've ever used. The main hotel manager (Christian Erpenbeck) was great - someone suggested that a fondue would be a nice thing to do and he accommodated us happily - put us down in the ground floor a-la-carte restaurant and they did a great spread for us at no extra cost. He was always very helpful. A couple of the other reception staff were less helpful which was occasionally frustrating but it was clear that any decisions about anything had to come from Christian. The breakfast was good - lots of choice and plenty of it. The buffet supper was a bit disappointing but to be fair it was probably because we were generally the last group to go into the dining room so on some occasions they had run out of some of the choices. For the vegetarians there was very little choice (but I think that's common in a lot of Europe where fish seems to be considered veggie. The bar had a nice ambience though the staff were a bit slow (and often there weren't many of them). The biggest negative was the snow ploughs clearing the roads at 4.30am every morning! I don't remember being woken as early as that anywhere else but perhaps it was just because we had such heavy snow during our week. "
