Overview
This is a modern style hotel with great 'wellness' facilities. Although 700 metres from the main lift (the Cry d'Er Gondola) the hotel provides a shuttle service which makes accessing the skiing in the morning easy (the shuttle operates 08.30hrs - 11.00hrs each day). The centre of resort with all the shops is just a short stroll away (300 metres).
All the bedrooms are modern in style with bath or shower, cable TV (English channels), telephone, hairdryer, radio and minibar. The smaller 'standard' rooms have an East or West aspect whilst the larger 'superior' rooms face and enjoy panoramic views across the Rhone valley towards the mountains of Zermatt, Saas Fee and the Val d'Anniviers.
The restaurant has two dining rooms. The main half board dining room and then the a la carte 'Tout un Art' restaurant with panoramic mountain views. There is also a bar/lounge with open fireplace - perfect for that pre or post dinner drink.
The Swiss are rather good at taking a drab and square looking building and making it modern, comfortable and hip. The Art de Vivre is a good example of this.

The superb wellness area comprises 450 square metres of space and includes: swimming pool, steambath, sauna, outdoor hot tub and massage and beauty treatment rooms. There is also a small gym/fitness room.
