• Slope access: Chalet Varendel is located just off the Village Piste as it descends into Meribel Raffort. Under good conditions guests can ski back across the garden to the ski & boot room door. In the morning you can ski from the property and continue to the bottom of the Village Piste. This slope ends opposite the Olympe Gondola lift which accesses the main Chaudanne lift hub area of Meribel in just a few minutes.


• Village & resort centre access: The centre of the Raffort hamlet is just 1 minute walk from the chalet. The resort centre of Meribel with its large selection of shops, bars and restaurants is 2.6km away (reached via the Olympe Gondola or the driver service.


• Ski schools: The main ski school meeting point (and lift hub) is located at the top of the Olympe Gondola at the Chaudanne area of main Meribel resort.
