Chalet Avalon

The Belgian owners of Chalet Avalon in Les Gets have spent two years creating this masterpiece of a property. They have obsessed over every detail and worked tirelessly with Devos Interiors a high-end design studio from Schilde in making the chalet what it is today. The main communal areas of the sitting and dining area have a softer feminine touch with muted colours, soft curves and layers of natural fabric finishes. The spa area and the cinema room are more masculine in nature. Here darker colours play wonderfully with a deep amber warmth created through the backlighting of natural marbles. Some of the design cues from the bar area are echoed in the spa where again, backlit natural stone creates a warm and inviting drama for the hammam and salt stone sauna. However, the real star of the spa facilities is the 6 metre outside custom swim spa which is sunken into the terrace overlooking the centre of Les Gets.

Automated lighting and concealed technology (such as the mirrored TVs) complement the finish of the property. When not in use these simply blend into the background, allowing the interior design to shine but should you wish to catch up on news, sport, or your favourite show there are plenty to choose from.

Chalet Avalon occupies an enviable location on the main Chavannes side of the main Les Gets valley and is easy to access from the road. The village centre is around 2 to 3 minutes' drive (there are multiple parking spaces at the chalet) or under 15 minutes walking distance.
