Chalet Alpine Friends

Chalet Alpine Friends is located on the edge of charming Chatel which has easy access to the mighty Portes du Soleil ski area.

The chalet is owned by your hosts, Luke and his wife, Grace, and they will look after you during your stay. They aim to make your stay as relaxed, enjoyable and straightforward as possible. From the moment you book they will help with the planning, practical advice and all the small details that make a mountain holiday run smoothly. Whether you are a group of friends or a family with young children, a group of beginners or seasoned experts they will help you make the most of your week in Chatel.

The chalet offers four en-suite bedrooms sleeping 8 guests but there is the possibility of a 9th child bed (please enquire for details).

Food is central to your guest experience. Included in the price are generous breakfasts, afternoon teas and six evening meals, with wine served at dinner and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere around the table. The meal plan prepared by Luke and Grace is inspired by mountain comfort dishes from the Alps, the Pyrenees and beyond - warm, abundant, thoughtful and well suited to guests to enjoy after a day skiing or boarding in the Portes du Soleil. The dining atmosphere is relaxed, generous and enjoyable rather than formal or fussy.

The chalet is located on the Chemin de Tres les Pierres on the edge of the village. The nearest free shuttle bus stop is a 2-minute walk (approximately 130 metres) from the chalet and this service quickly accesses the Linga ski lift. The Pre la Joux car park is a little further on but easily accessed with a short drive.

This property can be booked for shorter stays (5 nights miniumum stay) during low season weeks (early December, January, March and mid-April onwards). Please call for a price. If staying 7 nights a flexible arrival day (either Saturday or Sunday) may be possible but is subject to availability.
