Ski Magic ski holidays
Ski Magic was established in 1996 by Jane and Gordon Wilcocks, whose natural hospitality quickly built up a large base of happy returning guests. They loved the value for money, chalet locations and the resort of La Tania which offers easy access to the incredible 3 Valleys ski area without staying in one of the big budget resorts of Courchevel or Meribel. After growing the business steadily and building up a loyal client following and a portfolio of 6 chalets, Jane and Gordon decided to retire. In 2015 they sold the business to John and Clare White who have since added several more chalets in the next door resort of Courchevel Le Praz.
John and Clare have both lived in Courchevel and the Three Valleys since the mid 1990s and since then have looked after catered chalets and resort bars with large and small companies. It's fair to say that there is not much they don't know about how to look after guests and, most importantly, how to ensure that their in-resort team is well-supported.
Offering the same friendly, personal service that Ski Magic was always known for is important to John and Clare, who believe that skiing is a sport that everyone can enjoy (one of John’s many roles was as a ski guide!). Ski Magic's chalets are comfortable and welcoming for families, and well set up with toys, books, cots and highchairs to look after their younger guests. They also offer in-house nanny childcare with a flexible service depending on childrens' ages.
'Good value ski holidays' continues to be the ethos behind Ski Magic, with the in-house extras on offer meaning that guests can save money and also organise their ski holidays more easily. Ski hire, airport transfers and childcare are available at very competitive prices and can be booked directly with Ski Magic. With guests arriving in resort from all over the UK, having the flexibility to choose their own travel arrangements is a popular feature.
Having lived and breathed 'Courchevel' for so many years, John and Clare – who live near Saint Bon – recognise their guests love of the skiing that Courchevel offers and are keen to show them a different side to the world-famous resort. Expanding into the picturesque village resort of Courchevel Le Praz with three chalets has been an instant success with guests who love the authentic French feel of Le Praz, its easy access to the whole Three Valleys, and of course, the good value of the accommodation.
