Chalet star ratings: These are formed from our expert opinion based on the quality of the property, cooking, staff, resort location, value for money and tour operator.

The 'AA Heart' symbol: Look out for our favourite properties for each star rating. We have chosen these as we consider them as the 'best in class'.

Check in / out: Check-in time is usually after 4pm on arrival day. Check-out is usually before 11am on departure day.

Prices shown: Prices are per person for 7 nights (based on two people sharing a bedroom).
