Season 2020-2021: If you book a holiday and it includes a flight then you have booked a package holiday and you are protected by the Package Travel Regulations. These mean that if your accommodation cannot be provided you are either offered an alternative of the same quality, or a cash refund, or the chance to book again at a later date. As we have seen from experience any monetary refund may take a few months to be paid out but in the meantime your money is protected by the ATOL scheme. Bookings made 01st Feb 2021 onwards: If you cannot travel because of government travel restrictions and you choose to have a cash refund rather than use credit to book another time Alpine Answers will retain 2% of the total holiday cost to cover our operational and administrative costs.
Overview
Chalet Mazot in Courchevel Moriond is positioned just below the main centre of the old village of Moriond / 1650 in peaceful surroundings with fantastic views. Built in traditional Savoyard wood and stone this chalet is just a 5 minute uphill walk to the centre of the village. However, there is a free resort bus service to take you to and from the ski lifts. There is an open plan living / dining area with an open log fire. The bedrooms are all en-suite and well furnished. There are heated boot warmers and it is possible to leave your skis and boots at the bottom of the slopes in a storage unit if you wish too. Client Comments
" The staff were absolutely fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and our chalet hosts, Tim & John, cooked the most delicious food and were excellent company and related so well to both the adults and our children. 5 star service from arrival at Grenoble until our departure! Clean, comfortable chalet - lovely setting! Courchevel 1650 was great - everything you need for a ski holiday is on site, lovely atmosphere and friendly resort staff. Alpine Answers were very helpful and answered all my queries quickly and efficiently. You found suitable accommodation for us and as a result we had a superb holiday. Special thanks to Sam Dobson as well for all his help with my queries on ski schools and on our payment of the holiday. "
Mrs L H
" Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything ran smoothly. The food was very good. The chalet was very pleasant but not very convenient for the slopes. The skiing in Courchevel is superb. "
Mr S M
" Lots to like about the staff and would certainly include them in the list of possibles for another time. The chalet was good - a little bit further from the lifts/slopes than implied by the tour operator info but not sufficiently to be a substantial problem. Initially a bit of a problem with heating in one room but that got sorted. Cosy and suited our family dynamics pretty well. "
Mr S N
" The resort staff were excellent. Ines, our chalet girl, was charming and discrete. Her food was excellent. Lovely chalet, well-appointed although the living area was on the small side for the size of our group. Access to 1650 was pretty straight forward but not quite as simple as described. We liked Courchevel 1650 although technically we weren't staying there which wasn't clear from the chalet description. There are enough bars and restaurants for old timers although it was a bit quiet for the teens. The Skiset ski shop were very friendly to deal with. It was a result to be able to leave boots and skis in the shop otherwise the chalet location would have been a pain. We would certainly go back to Courchevel 1650. "
