New Generation is a British run ski and snowboard school based in Courchevel 1650 & 1850 as well as 16 other resorts across the Alps. New Generation enjoys an excellent reputation amongst the International ski community and was voted 'Favourite Ski School' in the Snowvole Awards. The hand-picked teams of fully qualified instructors are led by BASI trainer Dave Morris & Andrea Vitton , a well-respected Italian qualified coach. Since Snow D'Light was founded in 2001 they have selected only the best Ski and Snowboard instructors with the Highest European Qualification (Ecole National de Ski d'Alpinisme de Chamonix). Snow D'Light teaches children and adults of all ages and levels in groups or private lessons. They have been voted since 2006 the best ski school for children in the 3 Valleys. Their instructors have extensive experience in working with children. They give fun and exciting lessons helping children to progress quickly. Children are evaluated throughout the week in small groups (of same age and level) so there is no stress of a final test at the end of the week. For the little children there is a secure 'snow garden' in the heart of Meribel at La Chaudanne. They teach private lessons that offer personal coaching, providing an accelerated learning environment resulting in rapid progress. Above all the terrain is carefully chosen to fit their clients' personal abilities. Snow D'Light organise a full and fun programme so that their clients gain confidence, improve technique and improve their knowledge of mountain awareness. For booking and further information they are open 7/7 from 8am - 10pm.

  • Supreme Ski & Snowboard School

    Supreme Ski & Snowboard School

Supreme Ski School has operated out of Courchevel since 1991. However, in the summer of 2014 Olly and Nick Robinson along with Aaron Tipping took over the ski school and have set about bringing this great brand bang up to date. The three new owners are all former members of the British Ski Team and after pursuing regular office based careers around the globe have happily returned to their skiing roots. During the 2014/15 season Supreme Ski School benefitted from a rebranding exercise although there was very little change to the day to day running of it. The school already had a large amount of returning clients and a very experienced team which consisted of 9 full time instructors that peaked at 14 during the busier weeks. Now there is a large shop/office in the centre of Courchevel La Praz and a meeting point next to the main lifts in Courchevel 1850 which is in a great location and easily visible to all. Supreme now also run private lessons out of Courchevel 1550, 1650 and the rest of the Three Valleys. Autumn 2015 will see the launch of a new website and back office system which will allow for online payment. We think it will soon be a leading website within the ski school industry. Supreme have hired three new full time instructors for the 2015/16 season who have previous ski teaching experience in Courchevel and who will add a new dimension to the team. The team for the 2015/16 season will therefore consist of 11 full time instructors, rising up to around 15 for peak weeks. Nine out of the 11 instructors speak English as a first language and the other two speak English fluently as well as French and Italian.

  • The Snow School

    The Snow School

Established in 2008 as a small, caring and independent ski school in the 3 Valleys area. This is a UK managed ski school and as such is aimed primarily at the British market. They stand for fairness, integrity and great value for money in all their products & lessons! They are small enough to devote time and care and will be flexible and responsive to their clients' individual needs! They use a system called VAK which stands for Visual, Auditory & Kinaesthetic when it comes to teaching. This allows the client to use all three ways to understand a particular task or skill better. However, if the instructor is aware of the client's most dominant way of learning and receiving information then this aids their teaching skills and helps them improve the quality of their lesson.
