Season 2020-21: If a client's booking is directly affected as a result of the global pandemic known as Covid-19 this chalet company provides additional flexibility so that clients can continue to book with confidence. If, within 7 days of your scheduled arrival in resort, there is: a Covid-19 related closure of the resort; or an instruction by the local authorities in France to close the chalet as a result of Covid-19; or a travel ban imposed in France or the country of residence of the Party Leader which prevents travel to resort or departure from resort within the time frame prescribed in the booking they will accept a cancellation by the client and provide them with a credit note for 100% of the amount paid which can be rolled over to cover a booking in the same property the following winter. For the avoidance of doubt this enhances your protection by replacing the cancellation charges that would otherwise apply in these circumstances. All chalet companies are required to comply with all national and local government imposed regulations, recommendations and measures relating to Covid-19. Accordingly they reserve the right to make changes to the services offered or service level provided by them during your stay should this be required. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep any such interruption to a minimum.
The Grand Tetras chalet apartment in Val d'Isere is a privately owned property that will be added to our portfolio for one year only. There are plenty of chalets in Val d'Isere with stunning views but few can compare with those offered from the Grand Tetras. The always scenic Manchet Valley is spread out in front of the chalet and the sitting room balcony looks directly up the valley.
The Santons piste is just 50 metres from the main entrance to the residence and gives easy ski access for guests. The free bus service also stops within 50 metres of the chalet which allows easy access to the resort centre with its wide choice of bars, clubs and restaurants.
There are two bedrooms on the entrance level (third floor), one of which has a balcony with great views of the Bellevarde Mountain. The other is bright and classic in style. Climbing to the upper level finds two further guest bedrooms, one of which is large and faces over the village with an en-suite shower and bath. The other is slightly smaller bedroom but equally cute. A large open plan living and dining space is flanked by a stunning south facing covered terrace/balcony which overlooks the Santons home piste. This chalet works perfectly for small groups of friends, or two families where vicinity to the piste is very helpful.
The interior of the chalet has been decorated in a classic alpine style with charm and a modern bright feel. If you are looking for a more traditional chalet experience then this is a great property to choose.
The chalet is self-catered but with the addition of a chalet host who prepares and makes breakfast for you daily, as well as providing a housekeeping service on six days. There is no additional food or wine included in the price with this chalet but there is a wine list from which you can purchase bottles if you like.
