New Generation (Meribel Les Allues)
New Generation is a British run ski and snowboard school based in Meribel as well as 17 other resorts across the Alps. New Generation enjoys an excellent reputation amongst the International ski community and was voted 'Favourite Ski School' in the Snowvole Awards. The hand-picked team of fully qualified instructors is led by Zoe Campbell, a well-respected British qualified coach. The school offers a full range of lessons from groups for beginners and intermediates through to guided off piste adventures and everything in between. At peak periods they run children's lessons in the morning with small groups and a focus on fun. New Gen have been coaching in the Alps since 1998 and have been very much at the forefront of the ski lesson revolution. All lessons are in English and all groups are small. New Gen have put the fun back into learning and improving. Our advice is to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Snow D'Light (Meribel Les Allues)
Snow D'Light is a British run ski school founded in Courchevel in 2001. A professional & experienced team of fully qualified English, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian and Portugese speaking instructors. They offer beginner to advanced level group courses for adults & children in small classes. To simplify your holiday, the adult classes are specifically run at the same time and place as their children's courses. A longer 3 hour morning course with a day off to practice or ski together as a family is available outside the school holidays & a children's course with full days during the holidays. Private lessons are offered in ski, snowboard, télémark and ski touring and lessons are for up to 8 people with no additional charges. Technical clinics for intermediate to advanced skiers, on & off piste guiding groups and off piste, snowboard and ski touring taster days are also available throughout the season. Private instructors can be arranged to meet directly at the chalet each morning or at their meeting point at the chaudanne next to the tougnete gondola. The friendly English speaking staff can be contacted 7 days a week for enquiries and reservations.

The Snow School (Meribel Les Allues)
Established in 2008 as a small, caring and independent ski school in the 3 Valleys area. This is a UK managed ski school and as such is aimed primarily at the British market. They stand for fairness, integrity and great value for money in all their products & lessons! They are small enough to devote time and care and will be flexible and responsive to their clients' individual needs! They use a system called VAK which stands for Visual, Auditory & Kinaesthetic when it comes to teaching. This allows the client to use all three ways to understand a particular task or skill better. However, if the instructor is aware of the client's most dominant way of learning and receiving information then this aids their teaching skills and helps them improve the quality of their lesson.
