Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF) is the national ski school in France. Made up of over 17,000 instructors it is the largest ski school in the world. The ESF offers very good value group and private lessons for all abilities and all ages.

Evolution 2 (Ste Foy)
New for the 2011/12 season Evolution 2 are offering off-piste guided groups that can be booked onto person by person. They will be offering sessions catering for all levels from those new to off-piste right up to the experienced off-piste skier. They plan on running these Mon - Wed, 9.00am - 12.30pm. Cost = 55 euros per person per day (maximum group size 6 people)

Initial Snow Mountain School
6 full qualified ski-instructors and 1 mountain guide. Based in Ste-Foy. They have vast experience of the Tarentaise Valley ski resorts (Val d'Isere, Tignes, Ste-Foy, La Rosiere and Paradiski). Contact them for on or off piste lessons in snowboard, ski or telemark.

P D S Snowsport is a modern take on the traditional ski school. Designed around the client and their individual learning requirements, they create unique lessons to cater for clients' every need. Choose from their small group sizes or a bespoke private ski lesson to guarantee your skiing is taken to the next level. Tradski
This independent ski school operates in Val d'Isere, Tignes, Ste Foy and other resorts near Bourg St Maurice in the Tarentaise Valley with a small and select team of private instructors. It is headed up by Anthony Swallow (instructing in the area since 2000) and Tess (instructing in the area since 2003). They predominantly offer off-piste guiding and ski touring but can also conduct excellent on-piste tuition and coaching. This is British ski teaching at its best.
