Ski school meeting point for the ESF is at the bottom of the Peisey Chairlift (near the Vanoise Express cable car station). Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF) is the national ski school in France. Made up of over 17,000 instructors it is the largest ski school in the world. The ESF offers very good value group and private lessons for all abilities and all ages.

New Generation (Plan Peisey)
New Generation is a small British run ski and snowboard school in Plan Peisey / Vallandry. New Generation enjoys an excellent reputation amongst the International ski community. In 2005, New Generation was voted 'No. 1 Ski School' by the 'Which Guide' and the 'Snow Awards'. The hand picked team of fully qualified instructors is led by John Thomas, a British qualified coach. The school offers a full range of lessons from groups (beginner - intermediate) to Clinics (intermediate - advanced) to private lessons. At peak periods they run children's lessons in the morning so that adults have time to explore or join lessons themselves. All lessons are in English and the groups are small. Ski New Generation have been very much at the forefront of the ski lesson revolution. They have very much put the fun back into learning and improving. Our advice is to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
