The mountains are certainly no longer purely about gliding through fresh snow, warming yourself with incredible food and drink at the local bars and restaurants and then retiring to your luxury chalet. Many large ski resorts are holding spectacular festivals in the mountains now too, blending music with speeding down the pistes.
