A great value chalet in an amazing location.
Season 2020-2021: There is a 100% refund of any monies paid if international borders are closed, the ski resort is closed, the UK goverment advises against travel, or the French government imposes quarantine on arrival in France. The client can elect to cancel the booking before the balance due date and if any of the above restrictions are in place at the time of the booking start date the deposit will be refunded. If the restrictions have been lifted but the property has been re-sold then the deposit will also be refunded.
Overview
Chalet Thovex is fantastically located situated just behind the tourist office in an elevated position giving great views towards the Solaise Mountain in Val d'Isere. Situated just 50 metres from the very centre of resort and just 100 metres from the Solaise Express ski lift, it's a great find for any skier. It's set back from the main road and raised on the hillside, so you can really benefit from views of the Belvedere and Solaise ski runs.
It is built in a traditional Savoyard style with a combination of sensitively used local stone and wood. The first floor houses the kitchen, open-plan living/dining area with an open log fire in which to toast your marshmallows and offers a balcony from which to absorb those tremendous views. The second floor has an additional small lounge with balcony as well as three further bedrooms.
