Season 2020-21: If a client's booking is directly affected as a result of the global pandemic known as Covid-19 this chalet company provides additional flexibility so that clients can continue to book with confidence. If, within 7 days of your scheduled arrival in resort, there is: 1) a Covid-19 related closure of the resort; or 2) an instruction by the local authorities in France to close the chalet as a result of Covid-19; or 3) a travel ban imposed in France or the country of residence of the Party Leader which prevents travel to resort or departure from resort within the time frame prescribed in the booking they will accept a cancellation by the client and provide them with a credit note for 100% of the amount paid which can be rolled over to cover a booking in the same property the following winter. For the avoidance of doubt this enhances your protection by replacing the cancellation charges that would otherwise apply in these circumstances. All chalet companies are required to comply with all national and local government imposed regulations, recommendations and measures relating to Covid-19. Accordingly they reserve the right to make changes to the services offered or service level provided by them during your stay should this be required. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep any such interruption to a minimum.
Overview
The Chalet Grande Sarire is huge chalet and one of a growing number of high level chalets in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isere. Famous for its direct access to some of Europe's best lift-access powder skiing, Le Fornet now boasts a number of beautiful chalets and Val d'Isere's efficient bus system ensure guests have great access to the rest of the world class resort. Guests in the chalet enjoy use of the chauffeured driver service, so access to Val d'Isere's famous shopping, après ski and nightlife couldn't be easier!
The chalet has seven double/twin bedrooms spread over four floors and can comfortably sleep up to 16 guests as one room has two additional full size bunk beds. Larger groups can even accommodate an extra two guests as one room can be converted from a small living area into an extra room.
The chalet has a spacious open plan living and dining area, perfect for large family groups, and guests can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Isere valley. You can enjoy sitting back and relaxing with a drink at the end of the day around the chalet's open wood fire. The chalet's luxury spa includes a fabulous hot tub with stunning views to enjoy at the end of a hard day's skiing.

Really comfortable chalet, not over the top but nicely decorated throughout. Food is excellent and service is attentive with this small chalet operator.

Most chalet holidays involve a 'gap-year Charlie or Charlotte' serving spag bol or chilli con carne - if you decide to dine out, you could easily add 50gbp per person per day to your holiday costs. Here you get a top chef, food locally sourced and cooked to perfection right before your eyes. "
