Hotels in Solden
Hotels in Solden offer fantastic facilities and great value for money. Solden in Austria is one of those ski resorts that is for no discernible reason hugely overlooked by the British market. With nearly 150km of pistes and huge amounts of high altitude off-piste terrain this traditional resort has so much to offer. If you factor in the high altitude of Solden (1,400m at resort level to well over 3,250m on the glaciers), the great value hotels, and the very short and manageable transfer time from Innsbruck Airport of just over an hour it is hard to understand why it is not more popular with the British market.
We have the Chalet Hotel Hermann which provides very good value for money if you don't mind the informal nature of British staff looking after British guests. However, we also feature the excellent Hotel Bergland below. This modern, ski in ski out luxury hotel in Solden is where Daniel Craig and his wife, Rachel Weisz, stayed when filming "Spectre". And if it's good enough for Bond then we are sure it's good enough for us.
