Chalet Maison D'Hiver

Chalet Maison d'Hiver sits on the sunny side of the valley above the pretty resort of Les Gets. Guests will never tire of the mountain panorama its elevated position offers, and those looking for a beautiful and quiet 'hideaway' need look no further.

This five bedroom (plus adult sized bunk bed den) property is spread over three floors. Three of the guest bedrooms are on the lower floor and the remaining two bedrooms (including very large master double) and the bunk bed alcove are on the top floor. Sandwiched between these bedroom levels is the main kitchen, living and dining area with stunning far reaching views and large terrace with hot tub.

Chalet entertainment includes a TV room with an Xbox and comfortable bean bags and a sofa. In the ski and boot room there is a table football, which is perfect for keeping everyone entertained while the last few pull on their ski boots in the mornings. The chalet also has board games, table tennis, plus a supply of sledges and shovels for building snowmen in the garden.

On a practical note, the kitchen has two dishwashers and two Miele ovens. Off the kitchen is also a larder/laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying rack. There are heated cupboards for drying damp clothes and keeping items warm on both the lower ground and ground levels.

The two private car parking spaces in the centre of town (in one of the exclusive new build developments) are right by a ski hire shop and the ski slopes. The parking is also right by the main shopping and the convenience of these private parking bays is a real bonus.

Access to the chalet's front door is up a flight of steps. There is no hand rail but the external steps are heated so that they are easier to clear, please take care when using them, in spite of the heating they can be slippery. The property can also be exited at ground level through the garage (with electric garage doors) to avoid external steps if preferred after a heavy snowstorm. On the upper floor of the chalet there are several low beams to be aware of. One over the master en-suite bath and the other over a bed. Please take care!
