The Alp Hotel offers a blend of traditional Alpine materials with wood featuring throughout. The location could not be better - right at the base of the main gondola that takes you up to anywhere you could want to ski in the Trois Vallees and at the end of the day you can practically ski back into the boot room!
The rooms vary in size, from small twins to large triples and a large family suite. They are all en-suite with bath and shower, toilet, flat screen TV, and phone. The food is fairly simple but tasty, and there is a good variety at the breakfast buffet to fuel yourself up for the day. The hotel has a lovely terrace bar and restaurant which in the spring is a great place to sit and have lunch in the sun. The main restaurant has a good a la carte menu with plenty of local dishes on offer. The bar, which is pretty much open all day, is the place to be whether for some après ski or a pre-dinner cocktail. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is fairly quiet when compared to the other resorts in the Three Valleys, however there are plenty of good restaurants and a few good bars for some après ski.
For value for money we rate the Alp Hotel very highly compared to other hotels in the Trois Vallees.
Hard to beat! The location is spot on as you are only 50 metres from the gondola station in the morning and you can ski right back to the boot room at the end of the day. The rooms have all been recently renovated and although not massive are comfortable enough. The hotel bar is designed with a modern, hip style and the hotel restaurant has a very good reputation. This hotel is a fantastic place to stay whether for a short or long stay.
