Season 2020-21: If within 4 weeks of travel the UK government or Swiss authorities close the resort or prevent travel from country of origin the client is offered an 80% credit to use for the following season. However, 20% will be lost to cover non recoverable costs incurred by the chalet company (ie staff wages and food costs etc). Bookings made 01st Feb 2021 onwards: If you cannot travel because of government travel restrictions and you choose to have a cash refund rather than use credit to book another time Alpine Answers will retain 2% of the total holiday cost to cover our operational and administrative costs.
Chalet White Pearl in Zermatt is located in one of the only ski in ski out spots in this exclusive Swiss resort. This is Winkelmatten which is also known as the 'Beverly Hills' of Zermatt. In this area you can find some fantastic bars, restaurants and shops and as it is on a slight hill in the valley you have undisturbed views of the town and of course the imposing Matterhorn. From the chalet you can ski down to the Klein Matterhorn Express and on your return you can ski down the Moosweg slope to the boot room with heated boot racks.
The chalet is an impressive standalone building which has over 500 square metres of living space. It is quite unique in Zermatt as it is the only standalone chalet which has a swimming pool. You also have the benefit of a hammam, sauna and outdoor hot tub. Next to this wellness area guests can also enjoy a cinema room, games room and bar.
On the ground floor you can find the main entrance and dining room which can seat 14 guests comfortably, a living area with a fireplace and a separate library. On this level there is also a closed kitchen where staff will create excellent meals throughout the stay.
On the first floor there are two en-suite twin/double rooms with balconies which make full advantage of the Matterhorn views that this chalet enjoys. The third bedroom can be made into a king size double room or a quad bedroom for a group of four children or young guests. This bedroom is not en-suite but it has a private shower room opposite.
On the second floor there are two suites, both have a private living space with an open fire and both also have balconies with Matterhorn views once again. Both of these bedrooms have the lovely feature of a freestanding bath and an en-suite shower/WC.
The chalet has a lift which accesses all of the floors which makes it ideal for less able bodied guests. The staff and the service which they provide will be some of the very best in Zermatt, they will constantly be on hand to provide you with a chilled glass of champagne in the Jacuzzi, organise your massage and prepare breakfast, afternoon tea and a six course gourmet evening meal. The chalet comes with a driver service to allow you quick access to the village centre if required, which is 4 minutes in an electro car or a 15 minute walk.

Controversially (many may disagree) this chalet looks set to be one of the best in Zermatt with its desirable ski in ski out location in the stunning Winkelmatten area, this really is the height of luxury. Comparable to a 5 star hotel with its sumptuous furnishings, cinema, games room, indoor pool and wellness area. Dedicated concierge, massage, yoga, you name it. Nothing is too much trouble when you stay here.
