The Lodge

The Lodge in the heart of Courchevel 1850 is one of the 50+ luxury suites and apartments that make up the Six Senses development on the Rue des Tovets. Apart from the extreme comfort that these properties offer guests there are two stand out features of the Six Senses in Courchevel 1850: The spa and the restaurant.

The Sumosan contemporary Japanese restaurant chain is multi award-winning and critically acclaimed. Founded in Moscow in 1997 by Alexander Wolkow and his visionary young daughter, Janina, they now have restaurants in the world's most sophisticated locations. Known for serving incredible sushi and sashimi of the highest quality, amongst a myriad of innovative Japanese dishes created by the original Executive chef, Bubker Belkhit, Sumosan is a discreet favourite of A-list international celebrities, foodies and those seeking a truly slick and atmospheric dining experience.

The theme and concentration on guest well-being is extended in the famous Six Senses spa. This offers both guests and non-resident users a healing oasis. The lounge and open plan reception area welcomes you in with juice bar, pedicure & manicure stations and concept store all rolled into one. There are no less than 5 treatment rooms for self-indulgence as well as an indoor swimming pool, saunas, steam room, out-door Jacuzzi, Kneipp footbath and finally a fully equipped gym and studio for fitness classes.

The Lodge offers 463sqm of luxurious space including five guest bedrooms, a private spa with Jacuzzi, treatment room, sauna & steam room, and a cinema room.

The Six Senses Residence is within a five-minute walk (2 minute shuttle ride) from your private Ski Lodge which is situated at La Croisette (where the ski lifts start and the home pistes finish). The Ski Lodge is fully equipped with ski rentals, heated boot racks as well as boutique shop and cosy bar for après ski. Upon arrival your Ski Concierge will take guests’ equipment to store overnight. Servicing can be arranged so all is ready for guests to jump back on the slopes in the morning on revitalised equipment. A fully trained ski technician is on-site to make any adjustments you need. They can also show you how to become a better skier or impart information about the mountain for example where the best slopes, restaurants and bars are! Or your ski technician can simply show guests around the 3 Valleys ski area - this is all complimentary to guests staying at The Lodge. The Residence is further supported by the Six Senses 24/7 concierge service team to co-ordinate the in-resort driver, private catering, event planning and transport solutions for all guests.

Advance Provisioning Allowance:
The APA is an additional fee which covers any additional costs. Any left over money will be returned to the client. The APA will be calculated at 20% of your rental fee for the chalet which you then pay in addition before your stay commences. This must be paid at least 6 weeks before your booking commences. The chalet manager will keep all the receipts, as record for you the client. Your staff will keep you updated as your stay progresses of how much is being spent and anything else you should be aware of.
