The Loft at 272 is a modern open plan top floor apartment in the centre of Chamonix. It's a cosy four bedroom property with a large open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area complete with log burning stove to create a welcoming atmosphere. The main sitting room has views towards the Bossons Glacier and depending on the bedroom guests will have either a view across the town centre into the Brevent ski area or over to the Mont Blanc mountain range.
Three of the bedrooms are approximately 13 square metres in size and come with en-suite shower room. The single bedroom is a little smaller but also comes with an en-suite shower. Please note that the showers are in the eaves of the roof so that someone well over 6 foot may have to stoop a little.
On the top floor of the Hotel Gustavia and opposite the train station, The Loft at 272 is slap bang in the middle of Chamonix. You access the private chalet via an elevator through the hotel's reception area. The nearest ski area is 800 metres away, a 10-15 minute walk through the town centre. However, as with all accommodation in Chamonix, you'll be catching the buses to access the different ski areas around town and up to Argentiere (or to Le Tour or Les Houches).
The chalet sleeps a maximum of seven guests and there is a private chef and host to look after them. Breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner canapes with sparkling wine and a four course evening meal with wine are all included in your stay.
Everything is on your doorstep and the popular Chambre Neuf après ski bar is even close - just three floors down in the same building.
