Overview

Chalet Azimuth in Argentiere is a modern but comfortable chalet retaining that traditional alpine feel that seems to have been lost in many other chalets over the years. Covering 220 square metres, space is more than ample for just eight guests.

The chalet is located just 20 metres from the Les Grands Montets cable car station and the children's Panda Club is a very short walk away. To have a chalet so well located in this ski area is something not to be missed. In the chalet, expect a very high and personal level of service complimented with scrumptious food.

Chalet Azimuth is decked throughout with rustic aged wood, even through to the private cinema room. Children can while away the hours in the chalet or take advantage of the nursery slope a minute's walk away. Skiing from other resorts for the adults is made easy with a daily driver service.

Alpine Answers say:

Nestled in the forest just behind the Grand Montets cable car make its location perfect to access the skiing. The chalet itself is truly delightful and you can expect first class food and service. Highly recommended!

Client Comments

" The resort staff were very friendly and professional, it's a smaller operator but they can't basically do enough for you and it's not as themed as other high-end operators so they offer slightly more flexibility. The only comment I have is that they need to smarten up for pick up at Geneva, whilst when we got to know Jon he is a great guy, having paid what we paid, to be met by the ski bum image was a bit of a shock. Jon uses professional cooks and chalet staff who have experience from working on private yachts which makes a huge difference to their age, attitude and ways of looking after guests which is all a big plus. The slight downside though is a lack of mountain, resort and piste knowledge as they (unlike Jon) are not long standing ski season people and their ability to recommend restaurants, bars and areas to ski was limited. The chalet itself was outstanding - it offered excellent facilities and a good standard of high end accommodation. Chamonix is not as easy to ski around as most resorts and whilst some investment is being made, there are some old lifts, bottle necks and crushes at busy times. It is TOTALLY lacking in good mountain restaurants. Rachael (Alpine Answers) was outstanding - she has always come up with good ideas and has handled our booking well and with true client consideration and care. "
