Client Comments

" It was the best chalet hotel I have ever stayed in. It had the highest number of staff per customer. There was so much skiing that I will have to return. "

Mrs F C

" The holiday company were fantastic. Staff were friendly, good humoured, efficient and ready to please. The chalet hotel was of very high quality. The rooms were generous, clean and well decorated. I have experienced other hotels of this standard where the rooms have been quite cramped. Mayrhofen was itself central to the Zillertal ski area and we ventured to the glacier and to Zell am Ziller. These two areas provided excellent skiing and in some ways better than that of Mayrhofen itself. OK, the snow has been exceptional this year and that might have been the difference but we can only comment on what we found. Mayrhofen itself offered a chance to get away from the chalet if needed with the bars. Cost of food on the slopes was a third or so of France and of better quality too. Overall a very good resort and accommodation that matched our requirement for a large group of mixed ability, from beginners to advance intermediates. Also the Ski School Mayrhofen 3000, was excellent. Very good feedback from those that took lessons. "

Mr E W

" The resort staff were VERY professional, helpful and great fun too! Helen (resort Manager) in particular was excellent at her job and seemed to enjoy what she was doing too! Nothing was too much trouble. The Chef was EXTREMELY kind and accommodating as one of our party had LOTS of allergies, he really went the extra mile to help her enjoy her holiday. I think the standard of food and accommodation was excellent. The Stoanerhof was beautiful - the rooms were spacious and it was amazingly clean. The food was delicious, 4 course meals and so much choice. EVERYTHING we were given to eat was of the same high standard. The ski area is big but the area most suitable for the children was not in the same place as the more challenging adult skiing so we found ourselves travelling a lot rather than skiing. The resort's lift system is not as well organised or modern as some of the resorts we've been to in France but the apres ski much more lively! Alexis Morton (Alpine Answers) was outstanding. She found an absolutely ideal holiday for us, the price was definitely right! Sam (Operations Manager) was FANTASTIC. He was so patient and helpful as I had over a third of our initial party cancel and he was able to advise and sympathise! Thank you, Alexis for finding the holiday, it was absolutely 'spot on'! "
