Chalet Alistelle is a fabulous chalet set in a stunning location in the charming village of Tignes-Les-Brevieres, nestled high in the French Alps.The chalet is stylishly decorated, with bright colours and interesting features; while pine panelled walls and reminders of old Tignes give it a traditional alpine feel. Polished wood flooring throughout is softened with big rugs. The living areas are warm and welcoming, full of light and space. This modern chalet apartment is very conveniently located for access to the fantastic Espace Killy ski area. The free ski bus is a short walk away or you can normally put your skis on within 150 metres and ski back to within 100 metres approximately. Ideal for small chalet parties, Chalet 2100A is situated on the ground floor of an apartment building with its own front door. Chalet Atlas has a hot tub on its huge sun-terrace, open-plan, split-level lounge area and dining-room both have big picture windows looking out across the lake to Val Claret and the whole magnificent Tignes bowl, with your views enhanced by the glass front to the first floor balcony/terrace - a superb sun trap for afternoon tea! Chalet Cairn enjoys a superb location on the lake shore, and has proved hugely popular. Ski access is simple, with the Aeroski gondola and Palafour chairlift within 3 minutes walk, and a shuttle bus stop just outside to access the lifts at Val Claret. The resort centre is also only a couple of minutes easy walk. The location on Tignes lake shore also provides stunning views across the lake from the lounge, terrace, and hot-tub to the spectacular mountain face known as The Fingers, named after the narrow couloirs and ridges running down it. The face is illuminated at night with a gentle, ethereal glow, and on clear moonlit nights, the view is still more sensational. Built in 2001 to a high standard out of traditional rock and timber, the Chalet Isabelle is in an excellent position for hitting the slopes. The queue free Chaudannes and Paquis lifts are under a 100m away, and take you rapidly up opposite sides of the valley. Rooms are comfortable with en-suite facilities, but the full width dining/ lounge area is very much the focal point of the chalet with a high sloping roof supported by huge wooden beams, comfy sofas and french windows leading out on to an 8 metre wide balcony. This is a non smoking property. Please note that if this chalet has a fireplace that for insurance reasons it may not be used. This is an adult only chalet unless one party takes the whole property. L'Aiguille Percee is situated in the heart of Tignes Le Lac. Ski school classes conveniently meet a few metres from the door, and the main lifts and runs are moments away. The Aeroski gondola just across the road gives direct acces to Val d'Isere's slopes, while there are several bars and restaurants within a short walk. This highly popular chalet hotel was refurbished in the summer 2007 - it now has a bright, modern feel and is a vast improvement on the 'old' Rosset. There is a huge top floor lounge overlooking the frozen lake leading onto the balcony which catches the sun from noon till sunset. On the ground floor is the dining room, kitchen, staff rooms and reception, whilst the middle 2 floors are both bedroom floors, with a further 4 bedrooms on the top floor. Close to all amenities - shops, bars, ski lifts, nursery slopes - and with the free bus stop right outside, Hauts de Toviere is very well positioned. You can normally put your skis on 100 metres from the chalet and ski back to within 50 metres. With a great atmosphere and en-suite rooms, this is a popular chalet hotel (refurbished 2005).
