Les Anges sits on the best possible position in the Petit Village area of Zermatt at the closest point to the town with unsurpassed views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt below. Les Anges (the Angels) designed by the renowned Interior Architect Magali de Tscharner, is spread over three stunning floors. The chalet features reclaimed wood throughout. It is full of light with large panoramic windows to take advantage of some spectacular views. Great care has been taken to create a warm and cosy ambiance utilising the expertise of leading international lighting consultants. Its modern contemporary style with the highest quality natural fabrics is counter balanced by the symmetry of the furniture to enhance the feeling of warmth and luxury. The living area on the top floor features very high ceilings and huge bright windows which almost seem to bring you into the heart of the mountains. The spaciousness of the living area will fulfil the needs for conviviality of the most demanding guests. It opens on to a terrace, ideally set on the Southern side of the chalet featuring a barbeque and a large table for 14 guests. A wooden panelled, cosy TV room / library with satellite TV, completes the top floor. Below there are seven twin/double ensuite bedrooms spread over two floors with balconies. Newly built (2008), the chalet has been tastefully decorated, delicately combining an alpine, cosy and contemporary finish, with liberal use of wood and stone.     Chalet Paradies occupies the third and fourth floors of an apartment beside the Matterhorn Express lift at the top (and quiet) end of the village . Built using a mixture of wood and natural stone, the apartment has a wonderfully authentic look but surprises you with its contemporary style interior. The open plan sitting/dining room has been furnished using stylish furniture and strong colours and benefits from fantastic south facing views of the Matterhorn. The kitchen is open plan which means that you can watch your supper being prepared and get tips on where to find the best snow from your cook host. There are three bedrooms, one Austrian twin with en-suite bathroom with shower on the third floor, one Austrian twin with en-suite bathroom with shower and one double/twin with separate bathroom on the upper floor, with a stone staircase connecting the two.     This is a true 5-star catered chalet, now in its second season. It is probably the most luxurious chalet in Zermatt and is quite unique. Situated close to the main street and the Sunnegga Express lift station, The Lodge takes up the whole top floor (320 square meters) of a new chalet with an unmatched view over the rooftops dominated by the Matterhorn. There are five double bedrooms, four of which can be configured as twins. Every detail of the Lodge has been carefully thought through and meticulously finished, with wooden-beamed ceilings, aged wood floors and stylish yet cosy furniture giving a warm feeling of old-world charm with a crisp modern finish. The focal point of the spacious living rooms is a suspended wood-burning fireplace; adjoining it is a large dining room with a long table seating 12 comfortably. The kitchen is open-plan and professionally equipped; all these areas give onto a full-length south-facing balcony.     Carmen is a superbly situated duplex attic apartment in a chalet which is perched on a hilltop. Access is very convenient via a tunnel lift which is 200 metres away from the Matterhorn Express base station and resort ski run, thus making this one of the few chalets that are genuinely situated close to a lift and home piste. This is about as close as Zermatt gets to offering ski-in ski-out convenience. The church square with its boutiques and restaurants is just five minutes away in the other direction. With its sloping wooden ceilings and extensive paneling, this cosy duplex attic chalet apartment offers 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (two en-suite, one with Jacuzzi bath), a high ceilinged living room with wood fire, an open plan kitchen with dining and bar area, a mezzanine floor with a second living area, and sunny south and east facing balconies with plunging views to the river.
