Darkoum is a four storey, freestanding chalet containing three comfortable apartments (Darkoum A, B and C) with a high ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. For skiing, Darkoum is well positioned just across the road from the Bellecote piste, making it almost ski-in/ski-out and perfect for families. Darkoum A is well suited to families or adult groups. The chalet entrance is just below the road front; the chalet is spread over the two lower floors, joined internally by means of a spiral staircase. On the upper floor there is the spacious open plan living area with log fireplace and the dining room. From here, you can enjoy dramatic views down the mountain from the triple aspect windows. Outside is a large balcony, ideal for soaking up the views in the warmer months. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, both with en-suite bathrooms. On the lower ground floor, the three remaining bedrooms share two bathrooms and all have full length French windows. There is a games and TV room with DVD player and an Xbox 360. Access between the ground and lower floor is via a narrow spiral staircase. For larger groups, two or three of the Darkoum apartments can be taken together to accommodate up to 23 guests. Chalet Marie situated right on the piste near the centre of Avoriaz is simply a stunner! The chalet is modern and spacious inside, and charmingly decorated with Alpine antiques and inviting Savoyarde colour and panache. The wood-panelled bedrooms are all comfortable, and each has its own private facilities. The delightful heart of the chalet is its large open-plan living and dining area, with high, beamed ceiling, a feature fireplace, floor-to-ceiling picture windows, and a balcony with great views across the resort and valley below to distant peaks. La Petite Pia is a beautiful free standing chalet situated in the heart of Meribel. Stone clad and spread over three spacious floors, the chalet has wonderful views from the wide sunny balconies over Meribel valley. The interior is a mix of beautiful polished wood and tiled floors and wooden panelled walls; every part of the chalet has been lovingly decorated by the interior designer owner and the result is a charming and individual home from home that can't fail to please. Built into the hillside the entrance is from a wide deck leading into the hall and split level living area which boasts high ceilings and a large stone fireplace. A tiled staircase leads down to the middle floor to the enormous master bedroom, with its own small sitting room, en-suite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The large picture windows give access to the bedroom's private balcony and views over the west side of the valley. The second bedroom is a large wood panelled room with its own small balcony. There is a separate loo and basin and a separate shower room. The lower floor has a further two wood panelled bedrooms with two private bathrooms situated across the corridor. There is also a spacious cinema / games room on this level with doors leading out to the large and secluded lower terrace, where comfortable outdoor seating and a luxury hot tub are located. Also on this level is the apartment, which has three further delightful bedrooms which share a bathroom and separate loo. If filling the chalet to full occupancy there must be at least 4 children in the party. The chalet is situated a ten to fifteen minute walk from the main ski lifts, however, your chauffeurs are always on hand to whisk you to and from the slopes. Chalet apartment La Face was built in 2000 and is in a sunny position approximately 7 minutes walk from the resort centre of Val d'Isere. All the bedrooms are a good size and have en-suite baths and balconies. The lounge and dining areas are extremely spacious and comfortable with log fireplace and French windows onto a large terrace. The South and West facing balconies give wonderful views of the Olympic downhill. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away. Situated in the peaceful Stadle area of St Anton, Lodge Bodensee is a superb chalet with five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Lodge Bodensee is one of the four Arlberg Lodges which were created when an old sawmill was converted in 2006. The long building was divided into four chalets: Adler, Bodensee, Christoph and Danube. While Lodge Bodensee sleeps 10 in great comfort and privacy, the layout of the building lends itself well to larger groups wanting to take more than one lodge - it can sleep up to 36 in en-suite accommodation and the shared balcony has an exterior fireplace where gluhwein and canapes can be served to larger groups. All four lodges are similar in style, characterised by deep rich colours and a contemporary style, but maintaining a traditional chalet feeling in the wooden beams and floors. The large en-suite bedrooms (25-35 m2) are on the ground and lower ground floors. Every bedroom is equipped with wide Austrian twin/double beds on polished wooden floors, and a flat screen TV with DVD player. The bathrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with modern Italian tiles. The baths and walk-in showers are huge, and the Zucchetti fittings lend a highly contemporary touch. Upstairs, the superbly comfortable open plan living space has vaulted ceilings, deep sofas and a blazing log fire to create a real chalet or log cabin atmosphere. The flat screen TV can be used to watch a film, UK satellite TV, the footage from the day's skiing or to play on the Xbox 360. The lodge also has an iPad for guests use. Please note, the industrial kitchen (staff only) is shared with Lodge Adler and is locked at night and during the day when staff are not present. However, there is a fully stocked drinks fridge, two ring hob and tea and coffee making facilities for guests to use at any time. The fabulous Wellness area is also on the top floor. The sanarium (sauna combined with steam room) is ideal for relaxing aching muscles and, out on the roof, the outdoor hot tub allows you to relax and look up at the stars in complete privacy. La Maison is the smallest of the new chalets (built 2009) in Le Village and is found at the apex of the two pistes running alongside the development. This chalet commands completely uninterrupted views over the snow towards Les Bergers from most of its windows. At ground floor level there is an indoor hot-tub, sauna and twin bedroom with en-suite facilities and access to the outside. The main entrance can be found on the first floor along with another en-suite twin and a beautiful, light living space of kitchen opening to dining area, to living area.
