Chalet Aiglon is on the second floor of a new chalet building. Built in 2001 to a high standard out of traditional rock and timber, Chalet Camille is in an excellent position for hitting the slopes. The queue free Chaudannes and Paquis lifts are under a 100m away, and take you rapidly up opposite sides of the valley. The piece de resistance is the huge top floor lounge/dining area which spans the whole width of the chalet. The sloping roof is supported by open timber beams, with cosy sofa around it, set the scene indoors whilst there is an adjoining 8m south facing balcony if you wish to soak up the sun. Chalet Arktic features modern and stylish living areas, complete with an impressive floating fireplace, and floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows to make the most of the spectacular mountain views. L'Aiguille Percee is situated in the heart of Tignes Le Lac. Ski school classes conveniently meet a few metres from the door, and the main lifts and runs are moments away. This highly popular chalet hotel was refurbished in the summer 2007 - it now has a bright, modern feel and is a vast improvement on the 'old' Rosset. There is a huge top floor lounge overlooking the frozen lake leading onto the balcony which catches the sun from noon till sunset. On the ground floor is the dining room, kitchen, staff rooms and reception, whilst the middle 2 floors are both bedroom floors, with a further 4 bedrooms on the top floor. This modern chalet apartment is very conveniently located for access to the fantastic Espace Killy ski area. The free ski bus is a short walk away or you can normally put your skis on within 150 metres and ski back to within 100 metres approximately.
