Situated in the heart of old Meribel Village, 200 metres from the chairlift, Chalet du Vallon is the ultimate in comfort and luxury. The Chalet is one of a select few to have received the Meribel Office de Tourism's prestigious 'Label Meribel' certification - a symbol and guarantee of the highest of standards. Chalet du Vallon is a newly built eight-ten bed deluxe chalet combining modern comforts and traditional alpine charm. The interiors are a wonderful combination of rustic wood and stone, coupled with warm, sumptuous furniture and fabrics. The whole of the first floor (45 square metres) is dedicated to an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room area. There is a glorious open fireplace and large picture windows with spectacular views across the Meribel Valley. There are four twin/double bedrooms, each with luxurious en-suite facilities. Importantly for a great night's sleep the beds and linens are of the very highest quality, with a range of pillow types on offer. In addition to the fabulous living and dining areas, there is an additional Entertainment Room, Boot Room & Laundry with boot dryers. There is also a Steam-room with an adjacent Seven Jet shower. Dining and cuisine are at the heart of your experience. Hearty breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Champagnes with canapes and a four course dinner with fine wines (chosen to match the menu) are served 6 nights a week. All food is prepared by your own fully qualified chef. A Mid-week towel change is also included. The staff are there to reduce your hassle on holiday so you can truly relax and maximise your time on the slopes. They can organise your transfers, ski passes, ski hire, ski lessons, childcare and apres ski activities before your arrival so that you can switch in to holiday mode the moment you arrive. They can even arrange in-chalet massage and spa therapies to help you unwind after a great day on the slopes. All you need to do is organise your flights. Chalet Trois Ours is a fabulous new build located bang on the slopes of Meribel, below the Rond Point, and opposite the Adret chairlift. It's a 2 minute walk to Le Plateau where there are a few specialist shops and one of the best restaurants in Meribel - Le Cro Magnon. Here you can also take the short 7 minute bus ride into the centre of Meribel. There is no doubt that it is one of the best located chalets in Meribel if you are looking for a 'ski in-ski out' position. This newly but traditionally decorated chalet has that true alpine feel, it comfortably sleeps 10 people in 5 double bedrooms (all en-suite). All rooms have big, plush comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom stocked with a full range of Hermes bath products. An additional bunk room for a further two guests is available upon request. Enjoy the great views from the large balcony off the spacious living area, have a soak in the outside Jacuzzi or enjoy a film in the cinema room. For those that haven't tired themselves out on the slopes, there's the gym downstairs and also a steam room in which to relax aching muscles afterwards. As you continue downstairs you get to the heated boot room which leads out to the Jacuzzi on the balcony and also to the piste. Down one more floor and there's the cinema room with large and comfortable sofas, and onwards is the gym room with adjacent steam room and shower room. Located in Meribel's exclusive Brames enclave, it is perched over the valley with stunning views of Mont Vallon. As its name suggests, Chalet Aurore is bright and airy with light streaming in from the huge picture windows. The chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five twin and double bedrooms, each with its own balcony, ensuite bathroom and plasma screen with dvd. It is furnished in contemporary style with traditional touches blending well with more modern and iconic pieces. Vast honey-coloured timbers combine wonderfully with walls of exposed stone and the natural suedes and linens to be found throughout. The drawing room is the main focus of the interior, overlooked by a galleried study with telephone and internet facilities should you need to keep in touch while away. There is also a massage room to soothe aching muscles after skiing. Outside, it is the fabulous heated swimming pool (shared with Ski Lodge Boreale) and the chalet's hot tub that attract many of our guests. Situated on an expansive south-facing terrace, the pool is kept deliciously warm, and it is a magical spot after a day on the slopes. Loved by adults and children alike, it comes with an entertaining selection of pool toys. This coming season the chalet will have even more fantastic facilities with the addition of a home cinema with games room area. As a family chalets, not only does Ski Lodge Aurore have a large selection of books, toys, games and films, but it also has a complimentary au pair during peak weeks. Chalet Indiana Lodge is situated in the trees on the exclusive Dou du Pont estate - the Mayfair of Meribel - overlooking the centre of the village. Indiana has already fulfilled its promise to be one of the truly ultimate mountain retreats and there are few other chalets to rival it either in Meribel or elsewhere in the Alps. The Evening Standard recently rated it as one of the season's most sought after Ski Lodges (2006). The living room has a delightful wrap around terrace and each of the bedrooms and bathrooms has been individually themed to combine traditional craftsmanship with cool contemporary styling. This is a large free standing chalet (formerly called Grand Ours) situated in the Musillon area of the resort giving great views across the Meribel Valley and benefits from a large South facing balcony. Chalet Le Serpolet has undergone a complete transformation this summer. This already popular 12 bed chalet was completely refurbished in 2011. The newly decorated open plan living area will have beautiful soft furnishing, a luxurious sofas, a stone fire place and a fabulous dining table. French windows on one side of the living area open on to a South facing balcony, an ideal place to watch the sun disappearing behind the Meribel Valley mountains. All the newly decorated and furnished bedrooms offer en suite facilities , four with baths, one with a shower and one other with a jacuzzi spa bath. The chalet also has a sauna, games rooms, table tennis and large TV with cinema sound system.The mini-bus service takes you to and from the lifts at the beginning and end of each day. Chalet Iamato is a 5 star chalet built in the summer of 2000 to a very high specification. Situated in Meribel Village the chalet is only 300 metres from the lifts and shops of the village. For most of the season guests should be able to ski back to the chalet door. All of the bedrooms, with the exception of one, have a balcony. Additionally on the ground floor is a lovely children's room for up to 4 children, decorated with Victorian furniture with the small sitting room area having a pinball machine, television, video, Playstation and traditional games. The beds in the children's room are priced at 50% of the published adult price (no additional discounts are applicable to these beds). The fabulous sitting room has wonderful views over almost the whole valley of Meribel. This leads directly to the intimate dining area. Surrounding the sitting room on three sides is an enormous balcony/sun terrace with that ultimate luxury, an outdoor hot tub, where you can relax after a hard day's skiing and enjoy a pre-dinner drink! Just outside the sitting room is a small office with a computer with broadband/Wi-Fi access. Although Iamato is only minutes from Meribel Village and a 20 minute walk from Meribel Centre, guests also have at their disposal our complimentary chauffeur driven minibus service which is always available to take our guests wherever they wish to go in the valley. This chalet is managed by a Meribel Valley specialist operator and guests will be well looked after by experienced, well trained staff. Expect decent 4 course dinners, quality wines, duck down duvets, two pillows per person, Eyptian cotton linen, dressing gowns, hair dryers, mid week towel change, Roger et Gallet soaps, fresh flowers and daily newspapers, Champagne reception, DVD and video library. Chalet apartment de Meribel is in an excellent position in the centre of Meribel and benefits from stunning views of the mountains and nearby pistes and ski lifts. The huge French windows lead on to a balcony and make the open plan lounge and dining area very bright and airy. All bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms and most benefit from having balconies with wonderful views of the ski area. Alpine Answers: Please note that this chalet sleeps 10 - 12 people. This chalet is owned by one of the co-directors of Mark Warner and is as comfortable as you might imagine. It is also very well situated just 10 minutes walk from the main square of the resort and the Chaudanne lifts. It is just 50 metres from the piste. Chalet Loden offers both space and comfort with a trditional Alpine feel and is exceptionally well laid out. One of the main features is the lovely L shaped sitting room that gives great views across the valley. Please note that children under the age of 8 years old are not taken in this chalet. Chalet Bambis is one of the only genuine ski in - ski out chalets in Meribel and we are proud to feature it in our portfolio. Traditionally furnished, the space has been used to its maximum potential and whilst the lower downstairs bedrooms are quite small, much of the old character remains throughout. The living room has a wonderful, large stone fireplace where relaxed evenings with a glass of wine can be enjoyed after a hard day's skiing. An ideal chalet for a either a group of friends or families with children who ski, Chalet Bambis' most impressive feature is being able to walk out of the boot room equipped with boot warmers, put your skis or board on outside and slide down to the Chaudanne to catch the first lifts. Guests should note the chalet is not really suitable for babies or younger children as access involves a walk across the piste from the road. Please note that occasionally this chalet is split sold on a room by room, night by night basis. This means guests during one of these 'split sell' weeks will come and go throughout the duration of the week. Key points with regards the minibus service: - The service will be available from 8am to 10pm all week including the chalet staff day off. - Guests will be able to be picked up or dropped off to anywhere in the resort of Meribel. - All vehicles are 4x4 with leather interiors and DVD players with minimum 7 passenger seats. - Car seats for babies and children will be provided for all guest shuttles including creche pick up / drop offs. - Chalet staff will liase daily with the duty chauffeur to arrange morning pick up times. - Guests will be provided with cards with the duty chauffeur's number to contact for the afternoon pick up.
