240 square metres of living space (not including the ground floor) Two words, 'spacious' and 'exclusive', spring to mind when describing Chalet Aster. Nestled in the Belvedere area of Courchevel 1650, surrounded by trees and exquisite mountain views, the chalet is a haven of tranquility. There are beautiful mountain trails and cross country pistes literally on you door step, the Granges Teleski (drag lift) is a short slide away, and at the end of the day you can ski straight to the door. The elegant interior of the chalet has been beautifully created by local mountaineer Isabelle Sullice - her love of light and nature shines through. The chalet is incredibly spacious and built on 4 levels with over 240 square metres of living space available. The chalet has 5 en-suite bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 10 adults or 12 with children. The two master suites on the 3rd and 4th floors are pure indulgence - their size and views speak for themselves. The third suite can either be a Kingsize double or twin and has 2 extra day beds which can be used for children and the remaining two bedrooms can either be made up as Queensize doubles or twins. Each bedroom has an individual 'mountain' theme. Bathrobes, towels, slippers, hairdryers and L'Occitane bath products are supplied in each bathroom. The large, open plan sitting room has a traditional log fire and the bespoke dining table commands centre stage in the dining area. On the lower ground floor there is a TV room with Satellite TV, PC with complimentary Broadband internet access and a large ski room with boot warmer and drying facilities. Airport transfers can be arranged at cost and there's a complimentary intra-resort service between 8am and 10pm. Their brand new fleet of 4 x 4 VW Caravelles all have leather interiors and DVD players. The chalet has a personal chef, chalet manager and house keeper. Chalet Rikiki is on the piste and has en-suite bath and wc in every room. The large double height lounge and dining areas open onto a wonderful sunny terrace adjacent to the piste. You can ski to the main lifts in under a minute and the village centre and resort facilities are less than 5 minutes walk away. This is a highly popular chalet so early booking is recommended. Chalet Monique was built in 1995 but was extensively reburbished in 2008. There is a large lounge dominated massive timber beams supporting the ceiling. One side is virtually all windows with stunning views of other Courchevel villages and snow capped mountains in the distance. An open plan dining room off the lounge has solid oak refectory tables and antique sideboards. Please note that there is an 'honesty' bar at the chalet. Being one of the original chalets in Courchevel 1650, this chalet certainly exudes an atmosphere of old world charm that is so difficult to create in newer chalets. There is a huge lounge/dining room with massive timbers supporting the sloping ceiling. Chairs and sofas are arranged around the baronial-sized fireplace, alongside an ornate antique sideboard, which doubles as the chalet bar. The long solid wood refectory tables ensure that everyone, including the staff, can sit down together. This is a highly popular chalet that you need to book early. This is a non smoking property. Located well for the skiing and the amenities of Courchevel 1650, Lapin de Neige is only 600 metres from the Ariondaz Telecabine which accesses the entire three valleys area. Les Avals has been upgraded recently by refurbishing all of the rooms, and adding a balcony and French windows to those bedrooms which did not have them. There is a cosy residents lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs and a balcony. The hotel's own bar, Rocky's has become one of the most popular bars in Couchevel 1650 but tends to quieten down after 7pm for dinner. After dinner, on certain nights, live music, a disco or some other event will take place. This property and its bar holds a non smoking policy.
