Chalet Cristal de Roche is a chalet apartment that successfully combines character with convenience and the most outstanding views. Only a few moments walk from the centre of the bustling village, Cristal de Roche boasts the best views of any property or hotel in Courchevel 1850. It looks over the village and on to the valley of Bozel and Pralognan opposite. The chalet is almost ski in/ski out - across the road is a blue piste giving access to the Plantrey chairlift and the main lift station is only 200 metres down the road. This beautiful penthouse apartment is on the second and third floors and boasts an open plan sitting and dining room with a double height, vaulted ceiling giving a real feeling of space. There is a huge fireplace with a crackling log fire and a large balcony from where you can admire the breathtaking view by day or night. Above the sitting room is a galleried mezzanine and games area giving some space for children to play or watch TV in peace. The wood panelling throughout lends an authentic and homely chalet style and a warm ambience for a luxury skiing holiday. The bedrooms are relatively small but each has it's own en-suite bath or shower room (most were refurbished last year). The two bedrooms on the upper floor, including the master are situated under the eaves. The two bedrooms downstairs have their own bathrooms and share a wc and due to their character, ceiling heights are fairly low. All beds are built-in. The ski and boot locker (with boot warmers) is located in the communal area downstairs. Access to the chalet is via a staircase on the second floor. Please note there is no lift. The chalet is best suited to 6 people, although it can sleep up to 8. Location is the key and you cannot get better than this. Situated on the second floor above Jean Blanc Sports you are across the road from the slopes and La Croisette and opposite the entrance to the shops of the Forum. From the sunny balcony watch the world ski by or simply people watch! Despite it's central location the rental agency assures there is no problem with noise and the balcony doors are double glazed. Everything is on your doorstep - lifts, slopes, shops, ski school meeting points. Perfect for families as absolutely no distance for dad to carry the skis! This comfortable chalet apartment has an open plan living/dining room with wrap around balcony giving unbeatable views in every direction. The three twin bedrooms are spacious and each has access to the balcony. All bedrooms have en-suite bath and washbasin (two having those rather bizarre French hip half-baths!). Please note that children under 13 years of age are not accepted into shared chalets outside of peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, Half Term and Easter) unless the party books the chalet for sole occupancy.
