This beautiful, spacious, stand-alone chalet completed in 2008 has been interior designed throughout. The chalet comes with a shared driver service, chef, ski instructor and host and is located in a quiet spot on the edge of alpine pastures, a couple of minutes drive from the centre of the village. Accommodation is set over three floors sleeping 8 people, with 4 separate bathrooms. The master double is located on the top floor with access to a private balcony, dressing area and en-suite bathroom. A further spacious twin with adjacent shower room is also located on this floor. Darkoum is a four storey, freestanding chalet containing three comfortable apartments (Darkoum A, B and C) with a high ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. For skiing, Darkoum is well positioned just across the road from the Bellecote piste, making it almost ski-in/ski-out and perfect for families. Darkoum A is well suited to families or adult groups. The chalet entrance is just below the road front; the chalet is spread over the two lower floors, joined internally by means of a spiral staircase. On the upper floor there is the spacious open plan living area with log fireplace and the dining room. From here, you can enjoy dramatic views down the mountain from the triple aspect windows. Outside is a large balcony, ideal for soaking up the views in the warmer months. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, both with en-suite bathrooms. Chalet Solyneou recently benefited from a facelift and is now among the finest chalets in Val d'Isere for a group of 8-10 people, blending traditional Alpine style with cool contemporary features. The master suite is particularly comfortable with a South facing balcony, views of the mountain, armchairs and a flat screen TV. Two of the rooms are under the eaves and have low ceilings.
