Chalet Emma gives 154 square metres of prestige accommodation with magnificent panoramic views of mountains and valleys. It is a superb base for 8 people to enjoy the best of the Swiss Alps just two hours' drive from Geneva. The chalet has been designed and built as a perfect place for winter holidays with family and friends. This traditional but modern chalet sleeps 8 comfortably, with two double and two twin rooms arranged over three floors. A further two children can be accommodated on occasional beds.
After a hard day skiing return to a hot deep bath or exhilarating shower and look forward to a high-quality three course meal, relaxing in front of a log fire, and indulging in local Swiss wines with unbeatable surrounding views. Guests' comfort is paramount and under-floor heating, controllable temperatures in bedrooms, a wood-burning stove and ample hot water all keep the cold outside. The open-plan living area has been designed to allow the fully trained staff to produce a fabulous culinary experience for guests, while remaining friendly and sociable at the same time.
It is possible to ski in and ski out of the chalet. To reach the nearest piste in the morning there is a short traverse (no turns required) of 50 - 100 metres, the piste then leads down a short way to the nearest chairlift, approximately 450 metres away. When skiing back to the chalet there is again a short, easy traverse from the piste to the chalet door. Please note that skiing in and out of the chalet requires snow cover. The nearest piste to the chalet is a red standard run and is not suitable for absolute beginners.
If you don't want to ski from the chalet there is a morning shuttle run service provided in the chalet vehicle to the ski school meeting point (for beginners) or the nearest main chairlift (Trabanta).This will take just a few minutes' drive. Lessons begin at 09.45 hrs. A return shuttle in the chalet vehicle is also provided from the ski school finish point (at 16.30 hrs). Please note that the shuttle service is not a taxi service and cannot be used at any time during the day.
Please note that the access to the chalet from the public road (where there are parking spaces for guests of the chalet if you have a car) is down a steep tarmac road. The distance from the public road to the chalet is approximately 40 metres.
