This is a true character chalet with much charm and atmosphere.
The Farmhouse is a traditional Savoyard farm dating from 1802, and is ideally located close to the centre of the charming village of Les Houches. It is just 200m from the ski lifts and perfect for strolling back from the bars and shops. This beautiful, spacious chalet is newly renovated and has been sympathetically restored to retain much of its original charm and atmosphere, with old oak and pine sourced from Romania to compliment the 200 year old beams.
The Farmhouse boasts 7 ensuite rooms, either twin or double and one full size bunk room.There is a large double height sitting area with a log fire, French doors opening out onto a large terrace with spectacular views along the Chamonix valley and up to the Aiguille du Midi, and there is a separate dining area. Downstairs you will find another large and comfortable lounge equipped with a large flatscreen TV and stocked with DVDs, videos, books and board games. Should you wish to keep in contact with the outside world there is a laptop with Wi-Fi broadband access throughout the chalet. There are also 2 kitchens, but with a staff of three to look after your every need you'll probably never even notice. The chalet also boasts a sauna, outdoor hot tub and massage room so that you can relax and unwind at the end of a day's skiing
Summer 2007 a Jacuzzi is planned to be added. Please note that this chalet is in Les Houches, Chamonix Valley.

The star rating for the ski hire shops is an indication of the level of service; quality and variety of stock, and the space and decor of the shop. It is also a reflection on the price. A five star rated shop will offer great service and equipment but also will charge the highest price. Ski hire shops with a two star rating have less variety and older, poorer quality of stock but are cheapest.
